DragonsWhere did they come from?
Where did they go?
Questions to which answers,
No one seems to know.

Beautiful and gentle,
As much as a flower.
They soon disappeared,
Due to man's lust for power.

Only those now
As rare as sages.
Can truely find a dragon
In these modern ages.

Once these creatures
Where the protectors of us all.
Sheltering great civilizations
Until they disappeared, leaving them to fall.

Everyone I know
Is a dragon you see.
I look out for you,
You look out for me.

Dragons will be with us
Through the reaches of time.
In fact there's one sitting here,
Teaching me this rhyme.

DragonsDragons still exist.

They're still out there. They hide from us. They don't really need to, as we live too fast to notice them. But they still hide from us, just to make sure.

You see, they like observing us. We interest them unendingly. They love simply hovering over an open mall, or following someone at a distance for a short while. At night, they return to their clan home and tell the other dragons what they have seen. Gossip, if you will. If you're interesting enough to them you might have a whole family silently watching you.

each with their own abilities,
each with their own color, and size,
each with their own nature,

DragonsIn my dreams I ride on dragons
Of fire and dew, blood-red
And pure white. In my dreams
I have the confidence to love my body,
But this is dream-shown in the way I flaunt it

Not the stunted one, second-best with the speech impediment.
I do not compete endlessly with those
Of the bee-stung lips, fragile bones sliding

To the soul-less. Our sun is hidden beyond
The mountains in the distance. Those tall towers
With words carved into them,

And like humans they would breath.

Long, long body with slithery skin.
With two eyes and greenish fin.

Feathers on the end of his tail.
Blows fire that will burn your nail.

Not a unicorn can stop them.
Nor a sorceress gem.

Dragons they are, living in the mist.
Never try to give them a fist.

We, The DragonsOur wings are taunt,
Our horns are sharp.
Our talons honed,
Our tails like clubs.

We are ready,
We are waiting,
We are here,
We are fighting.

This is war,
This is hatred,
This is blood,
This is blame.

I am waiting.
I am tiring,
I am bloodstained,
I am ready.

I am searching,
I am finding,
I am devouring,
I am blindly raging.

Fire breathed,
Fire unleashed,
Fire borne,
Fire bred.

Claws clashing,
Fire mashing,
Wings stretching,
Voices roaring.

We are dragons,
I am Dragon,

Places beyond name.

Far over teeming, turbulent, ocean swells
Be lands of magic and mystic fable
Where all of dream's strange bestiary dwells
And where may exist the supernatural.

And from thence come glorious, fabulous tales
Sagas of sorcery and great, sweeping quests,
Legends of treasures, artefacts of vast power
Discovered in hidden, death-guarded, chests.

There are shining places of a beauty beyond dreams
And harsh regions of danger, nightmarish and cursed.
Ancient ruins cast shadows, as shining cities stand tall,

Dragons.

Some say they never were,
And were birthed from imagination.
The same say that fantasy
Is the realm of children and the insane.
To believe in the magical,
the mythical,
And the fantastic
Is to be as a child or a madman.
I am neither and I believe in dragons.

The majestic Lords of skie
Born of fire.
In an averie of flames
The eggs lie
Warmed by mothers breath.

Emerging weak and hungry,
Parchment wings
Unfurl for the first time.
Infant sings
For mothers attention.

Noble, proud and powerful
Lords of the skie
Reach the very stars with
A thermal sigh
And one thunderous wingbeat.

Upon the winds they soar
Swooping, diving
Breaking free from earths hold.
Striving
Higher, faster, beyond the limits.

All nations praise them
Emblems adorned
And they do not exist?
Scorned!
Fools, they are about you!

Dragon, Wyvern, firedrake
Black, white, blue, red
The old bronze
The nobel silver
The regal gold
The death dragon
The luck dragon

Dragons! Live breath fire and flame
Mighty in body, glory in name

My theory is dragons are real. I say this becuase they say they've never gotten proof that dragons do exist but i say that they haven't found proof that dragons don't exist.
