Ok, I am at a loss for words. My poetry deviation Dragons has just topped 1000 views.
By DeviantArt standards that's probably not a lot but it sure suprised the hell outa me... First and foremost because I do not consider myself a writer/poet and secondly it was written in less that 1/2 an hour.
So, to those of you that viewed, commented, faved and generally enjoyed the poem...

A Year in the wilderness

Its been almost a year since I hung up my cameras, retired my graphic software to an archive folder and placed my brushes and paints in the bottom drawer.
It has been hard year with many a heartache and a permanent dark cloud over us.
But the future is looking a lot brighter now. I think its time to start working again albeit with less volume and more focused work. I will also be re-visiting some old projects with an improved eye.
